Iām at the CANA sustainable transport workshop today in Melbourne, cycled the 14km in from Fawkner. Ventilation is good at the multicultural hub venue with 589ppm CO2. Lots of positive discussion on tackling #TransportEmissions.
I caught the #UpfieldWave in Brunswick following the train across 5 road crossings. Hope Skyrail will provide similar cycling priorities
@takvera Nice one. That figure is interesting, showing that the CO2 emissions from a Top Range EV using Victorian grid power is higher than the per person emissions from an average petrol car when car pooling.
When you can't bike or bus, car pooling is still an important thing to do, even if you've got access to an EV.
@takvera there's no way a green powered EV is better than a bus, of you include lifestyle emissions.
Also, what about electric buses?
