Oh look, two more Twitter DMs this morning. Both are Bitcoin scams. Awesome. Honestly, I'm mostly still on Twitter because of my Apple and tech deals lists. I can't set them up the same way over here because Mastodon doesn't let you add someone to a list without also following them. My plans for self-hosted RSS are on hold until I can get sighted help fixing my domain's DNS settings to point it at my VPS.
@alexhall in terms of #DNS, I can recommend #ClouDNS as they really make that easy - including a nice #API...
@kkarhan @alexhall A big issue with #ClouDNS is that they code radio buttons and checkboxes on their website in a way that makes them invisible to VoiceOver on iOS and Mac. There are several places where radio buttons in particular are used to configure settings. Unless you have some residual vision or are prepared to ask for sighted help, I can't recommend them yet to anyone who relies completely on VoiceOver (I can't comment on other screen readers).
@kkarhan @alexhall Still 10 times more accessible than #DNSMadeEasy though 🤷‍♂️
@David @kkarhan Thanks for the warning. The DNS in domain.com is all but unusable, since activating the link to edit or delete an entry causes both links to vanish and doesn't execute the desired action. I want to move things to Digital Ocean, since that's where my VPS is, but I'm not sure if their system is accessible.
