When you’ve seen corporate payroll printers shooting a column of punched paper across the full width of an office tower to land, neatly folded in a crate, it dawns on you why this error message exists.
A tear beginning at the far end… creeps back to the printer itself. You get to watch a panicked technician literally chasing the tear down to hit the STOP button before things /really/ go sideways.
