Ever have one of those moments where you're in a conversation or meeting and you say something and you're like "Wow that was actually really smart". I can't tell if it's #ImposterSyndrome or #narcissim.

Like on one hand, it's kind of narcissistic to be so enveloped with one's self to be like "Oh hey listen to how smart I sound".

On the other, the fact that it's such a surprise and feels out of the ordinary suggests a level of imposter syndrome.

Does this make me an narcissistic imposter?

Also yes, I have Imposter Syndrome over having Imposter Syndrome all the damn time 🤷‍♀️

@alyssam_infosec If you want to go a step further, listen back to a Zoom recording of the meeting a few weeks later and surprise yourself by confirming not only how smart you are, but how confident and assertive you were in voicing your smart opinion. I may have recently experienced such surprise. 🧐😂

@alyssam_infosec Happens to me a lot with emails. I’ll revisit a thread after a long span of time and often sit there going, “Man, that was a really smart perspective / argument.” It’s made worse because my memory is crap, and I legitimately feel like I’m reading something for the first time, yet I’m the author.
