A tiny #PygmyOwl for your enjoyment. These little guys are about the size of a sparrow and are #diurnal #owls rather than #nocturnal.

@lemonster1 👍 You are fortunate, they’re incredible birds. In my are of N.California the mating / nesting season has begun! They’re very active right now, making their beautiful “owl songs” almost nightly. ☺️
