If you keep reading what pandemic deniers, including Vax-And-Relax Democrats are saying, ultimately it comes down to them just not liking to wear a mask or miss a party. Personally I'm fine with masks and meeting with people outside once the risks are assessed.

@rchusid A couple of months ago, someone called out a presenter speaking unmasked, to a room full of unmasked people, about *accessibility* on the web – and pointed out that that attitude of “most people will be fine getting COVID once in a while” EXCLUDES immunocompromised people. It tells them “You don’t count; you’re not really part of society.” It’s on the path towards genocide.

@grinningcat It isn't only the immunocompromised, although they are at much greater risk. There should be provisions for the elderly who are at a higher risk than the average person, or even for young people who don't want to get sick for a week.
