the Go maintainers are now claiming that objectors to Google's opt-out telemetry proposal on the Go compiler - yes, really - are arguing in bad faith and violating the Code of Conduct, and their comments are getting hidden.

well done lads, you just keep doing that as hard as possible. i'm sure it'll work out great.

@davidgerard let me guess, they're using a variant of the Contributor Covenant to do that. It's real good for suppressing people, it's what it was made for.

@adversary @davidgerard As I'm sure you're already aware, the Contributor Covenant was designed to stop discrimination, bullying and hate speech in FOSS projects. It wasn't made by a corporation. If you have a beef with it, I'm going to guess it's stopped you from behaving like an arsehole at some point.

I'm not an arsehole for being #intersex and alive. Maybe for other things, but not just for being intersex.

I'd report your interphobic arse too, but your instance uses the interphobic Contributor Covenant as its CoC anyway, so there's no point.
