Any other #writers get the feeling that a character is standing over their shoulder, judging? I'm dealing with this now....damn you General Dwight Eisenhower for telling me I've gotten something wrong but not telling me what!
@vashafer Oh, I hate when that happens. It’s usually my villains too.
@BranwenOShea this is my worst fear when writing, that I'm getting it wrong but I don't know how I'm getting it wrong. Usually my characters will let me know how I've gotten it wrong but I'm not getting that now, it's more a "you got this wrong but I'm not going to tell you how" thing and to tell the truth I'm not sure how to deal with it other than to edit and hope that it's right.
@vashafer The one time this was really bad, I had to take a break. There was something key that I didn’t know, and the character didn’t want to come out with the truth yet. When he finally did, it all made sense and I could fix it. For me, it’s their story and I’m the scribe. But I totally get the frustration. It’s REAL.
