Here is the bottom line; Providing training should never be seen as a perk, but as a must in the infosec field.
Be skeptical of orgs that will not offer training to their employees in a consistent and free of charge way.
Also, since we are at it…
If you are an org, don’t try to sell the freebie you got from a vendor after purchasing a rather expensive tool as some training perk. That is just bare minimum and…. It looks so bad.
