Photo of my workplace in a small wooden hut. The hut is unheated. In winter I only work there for half an hour a day. Then I go back into the house and continue working at the dining table.
The windows of my hut date from the 19th century.

@Snos Ja, das finde ich auch 🙂 Nach vielen Jahren am Esstisch und am Computer war es bitter nötig , nir einen neuen Platz zum Arbeiten zu schaffen

@johannamaria Ja, den Esstisch müsste man immer leer räumen, das wäre sehr unpraktisch. Ich arbeite an einem alten Küchentisch, da passt das Laptop noch mit drauf, denn ich brauche es.

@Snos Dein #Arbeitsplatz ist auch sehr schön.
Ich brauche immer mein iPad am Arbeitsplatz. Ich zeichne ziemlich viel digital, weil es mir so leichter fällt, meine Scheu vor dem leeren Blatt zu überwinden. Aber auch, weil ich spontaner zeichnen kann und unendlich abändern – keine Verschwendung von teurem Zeichenpapier – eine große Erleichterung. 🙃

@johannamaria Ich liebe das Entwickeln auf Papier. Ich habe noch sehr viele Papierreste, die ich auf diese Weise sinnvoll nutzen kann. Von der Vorskizze geht es aufs Transparentpapier, wo ich oft noch etwas ändere. Zum Schluss kommt die Übertragung auf Zeichenkarton. Meist zeichne ich mit Feder und Tusche - und es darf ruhig einmal klecksen oder ungerade sein.

@johannamaria @norberteder Sites for people who like backyard astronomy sell heated socks, and heated fingerless gloves, and the like. Might make it possible to work in that beautiful space a bit longer in winter? ☺️

@quixote Even heated socks are not enough. The crayons get hard in the cold and you can't draw well with them anymore
