You can try to paint this as another terrible decision by the new regime, but ... nah, this one needed to go.
I couldn't believe this show was from the same people who were responsible for The Thick of It. It was artless, graceless and lacked all insight.

To give you an idea of the differences, The Thick of Us gave us Malcolm Reed and "omnishambles" and Avenue 5 gave us a bunch of grown ass people rolling a pedophile around a spaceship in a hamster ball.
And god I wish it was as funny as it sounds.

And while you may have seen bits of the airlock scene, despite what you may have seen it wasn't very good either.
It goes on for an interminable agony of time as they just beat the joke into the ground until it's bleeding and crying for its mother.
