First board fully assembled. Still have to test it. I didn’t fully realize how much space was on the board so next revision will tighten it up some. Also need longer knobs it it’s going in a case. #synthdiy
Finally tested it, seems pretty good, does 2x amplification as it should. Will need to probably use shielded cables to run from this board to the main board otherwise noise does get introduced. (Granted the 2x amplification here gets cut in half to reduce injected noise at the mixing stage anyway...)
@srmoore mixer?
@jepyang In a way. Basically I'm trying to build a matrix router so I don't have to switch everything around when I want to change inputs to the computer/DAW or send things out to an effects pedal, etc. So the knobs are just input attenuation, and I'll have a final output attenuation as well (once I get that part built. Eventually I want 16 in, 8 out... building it modular like so minimum counts at the JCLPCB (or elsewhere) don't cost a fortune while prototyping.
@srmoore nice! That sounds super handy and the modular design is a clever way to cut costs
@jepyang It does help that the entire design is basically cut and paste pieces... :D
