I like this release even more now than I did back then: Not only does it still sound like the future somehow (while also reminding me of my past), it's also strangely obsolete because Glass wrote it to fit on a cassette. The original cover even boasted that it's "specially mixed for your personal cassette player."
And his decision to make the pieces more concise for a general audience in no diminishes the minimalist ethic.
