@geerlingguy Tweeter kill the API for the unofficial clients, so Tweetdeck is concerned too.
(I'm not using Tweeter at all so if I misunderstood ... )

@geerlingguy I switched to the tweetdeck beta. That fixed the problem for me. Run document.cookie="tweetdeck_version=beta" in the browser dev tools console.

Have seen quite a few comments here reporting on the same message and #twitterdown is trending.

Nothing to do with tweetdeck though, twitter have switched on a new rate limit feature and it looks like it broke something.

@geerlingguy Yeah that was a very botched update, wasn't it. So apparently they will retry in a few days *and* they announced a free tier that will probably cover 99% of legit bots, see image. But I fear for Tweetdeck (which is back for now).
