@BenRiceM Lines! Layers! They're good.
@BenRiceM Great photo, Ben. Followed on Glass.

@glass I don't know if this is my "best" photo, but it's the one I'm most proud of. ☺️

@jaredwhite Love those little larches popping out.
Bruce Levenstein on Glass

Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

@brucelevenstein What wonderful weird vibes! The person hunching, the reflection from the light, darkness. So good.
@glass Best is hard to quantify, but this one doesn't suck: https://glass.photo/techphotoguy/2NJkqbexeav9i9jEx9IZMJ

@techphotoguy Best is, you know, a personal vibe that one has to decide on their own.

The sun rays at Dingmans Falls hit different

@mattbanks Always a sucker for a long exposure waterfall. Can't go wrong.
@glass this was right after a hurricane rolled through. It’s normally about 1/4 the amount of water coming through there, maybe less.
@glass I like this as it’s one of the first digital photos I took 20 years ago. I have no Idea who she is #photography https://glass.photo/iestynx/3dkc9Pef4UPSL5ZGUOGPsh
Iestyn Lloyd on Glass

Using Glass has inspired me to go back and look through my archive. This is one of the first digital photos I ever took. It was on a borrowed Kodak DC…

@iestynx Kodak DC3200!
@glass they don’t make cameras like that anymore… for a reason😆
@iestynx Got a floppy disk with exactly three Sony photos on it somewhere around here.

@iestynx @glass That's good, but I might clone away that piece of corrugated metal in the picture. Ought to be a snap.

Ain't it great having to hand-smooth all the jpeg artifacts resulting from upscaling an old digital photo? I've had to do that a couple of times. This photo is old enough to vote and when I upscaled it I had to smooth artifacts around every sharp edge...

@Ellard Always looking like a sculpture 🤩
Thanks a lot for the boost Jason! @glass @gallaimage
@Ellard @glass Happy to. This is one of those images that makes me think "WTF have I been doing for the last 30 years?" When I grow up, I wanna take pictures like that. 😆
Thanks a lot for the boost @yeos !@glass

@glass Kinda mostly digging this one right now:

Flying. Getting a bit closer to figuring out how to process these monochrome files too!

@gregheo The one kid looking to the right in profile?? C’MON. Too good.
@gregheo Great photo, Greg. I just went to view it properly on Glass, only to see that I already commented on it last year! 😊
@darrylyoung I think I never officially appreciated the comment because that feature didn't even exist last year but I have rectified that now.

Demonstrators are protesting against the abortion ban in Poland. Text on the banner „Our government is so nimble, that it looks into our pussies”. 202…

@maotsu These are really powerful — can feel the rage and life in them.
@glass thank you. We were angry and still are after tightening the abortion law in Poland. Maybe in time it will be changed. We'll see. It was these protests: https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2020/oct/30/pro-choice-supporters-hold-biggest-ever-protest-against-polish-government

@glass gotta go with our cat Nugget's kitten picture. She had just discovered how to climb trees and let me take this wonderful photo https://glass.photo/dustin-svehlak/3NA9FjXnJAAS8gLKi1awj9

Nugget when she was but a kitten and we still let her in the yard. Diffusion provided by a Prism Lens FX Dream FX filter.

@dustinsvehlak Yes, you do have to go with Nugget. That is correct.

@darrylyoung Japan is cheating, but we will allow it because 🤩
@glass Haha. That’s true. Where else would a business man walk out, look around, and stop just long enough for me to frantically turn my camera on and grab the shot? Only Japan. 👌

@glass It’s hard to decide, so many memories when going through those photos. I‘m feeling this one the most right now, maybe because I had to do a lot of symmetric stuff at work today 🤷🏼‍♂️

Urban/busy scene near Times Square, NYC I captured a few years ago on my phone. The blue glow is from an advertisement for a broadway show just out of…

@glass firstly, it’s lovely that Mastodon (or the Ivory app I’m using) doesn’t crop images in the preview card. So that’s 💯. Brb with a photo to share.
Andrew Areoff on Glass

Dots. Tate Modern, London.

@glass Not so sure about best, but this one impacted me as a photographer trying to capture a sense of a world of injustice that I was witnessing without being so close as to sacrifice others’ dignity for the sake of my photograph, if that makes sense.
