@DamienWise though I’ve had four doses, I feel reluctant to have a fifth given the lag in applicability of protection from new variants. I’m not confident the government has kept up with the science

That said, I wish ATAGI had moved more quickly on this decision. And, generally, that we'd always have access to the most up-to-date vaccine to give best protection to whatever strain(s) are dominant currently, as we do for the annual flu vaccines. I think that would be a beneficial stepping-stone while the scientific search for an omnivalent COVID vaccine is in progress.
