THREE SPECIAL ELECTIONS ARE SCHEDULED FOR TODAY, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2023 IN PENNSYLVANIA’S ALLEGHENY COUNTY!

There are three vacancies in the PA House of Representatives. The vacancies are due to the death of Rep. Tony DeLuca (32nd) and the resignations of former Rep. Summer Lee (34th) and who was elected to Congress and Austin Davis (35th) who was elected Lt. Governor.

The 32nd includes all of Oakmont, Penn Hills, Verona, and a portion of Plum.

The 34th includes all of Braddock, Braddock Hills, Chalfant, Churchill, East Pittsburgh, Edgewood, Forest Hills, North Braddock, Rankin, Swissvale, Wilkins, Wilkinsburg, and a portion of Pittsburgh.

The 35th includes all of Clairton, Duquesne, Homestead, Liberty, Lincoln, McKeesport, Munhall, Port Vue, South Versailles, Versailles, West Homestead, Whitaker, White Oak, and a portion of West Mifflin.

Don't worry, people got postcards. I wrote for two of the three campaigns. (Only because two were simultaneous so I just picked one of the two once the first list was finished because when you're sitting writing during Maddow on a Monday night, it's easier to write the same message over and over than to switch messages, and I figured if one ran out of addresses, the next people to text would just do the other list.) They definitely finished one of the lists and I'm guessing if they had enough writers for one list, they got through the others too.

I agree.

We worked so hard on the 2022 elections, particularly in PA and other key states and we we cannot afford to lose what we've gained.

Oh my goodness.

I ran a few state rooms for the 2022 election, including Pennsylvania.

I'll watch for the results.

Generally I keep politics on Post and keep Mastodon light and fun.

I learn so much from your posts and have gained a lot of respect for you, so you're an exception to that.
