**EDIT:

We just ran out of funds on OpenAI and I rather save money for mstdn and related services I think!

If anyone missed it, yesterday I've setup a simple #ChatGPT wrapper that allows you to play with the chatbot without the need for an account

It also has translation and a text-2-voice feature (it's funny)|. It's running on my free API key and I have no idea what the limits are but it's still running

I put it on this domain: https://loazy.com

Loazy, your friendly chatbot!

Loazy is your friendly neighbourhood chatbot driven by OpenAPI ChatGPT!

Little FYI:

Loazy is just a 'frontend' for #ChatGTP made by #OpenAI, I do not have any control about the 'outcome' / replies that the chatbot is sending

I only provide an easy way to access the thing without you giving away personal data

You can learn more about the engine behind it here: https://openai.com

OpenAI

We believe our research will eventually lead to artificial general intelligence, a system that can solve human-level problems. Building safe and beneficial AGI is our mission.

**technically it's a front and backend but it's requesting and sending data via an API to OpenAI

@stux

😊

Slight problem ... the blue on black writing in the bar is illegible to me.

@stux I'm just curious, are you asking it to be concise when you send a request? I notice your interface seems a lot less verbose than the ChatGPT one (that is, unless you request verbosity).
@stux btw, why is it trying to contact localhost? Voice recognition?

@kantor yeah thats a little weird, should be dev only

it should't matter but im gonna check later

@stux also, it doesn't seem to remember context — as if questions are asked separately. IDK how it works and if that can be fixed, but there is a limited telegram bot for ChatGPT that seems to remember context (it can be reset manually), so I guess it's possible
I think Loazy.com ran out of funds

I think that's it

Not sure I wanna spend money on it though.. Perhaps better invested in the Fediverse

@stux I didn't realize it cost money for me to play on it. Sorryz...
@stux thank you, Stux! Loazy had some issue with repetition, but handled the questions at, in my opinion, a late grade school level, or perhaps even early high school

@stux

I asked "what are the limitations of ChatGPT"?

1. ChatGPT is limited to generating responses based on the context of the conversation. It cannot generate responses that are completely unrelated to the conversation.

2. ChatGPT is limited to generating responses in the same language as the conversation. It cannot generate responses in multiple languages.

@stux

3. ChatGPT is limited to generating responses that are based on the training data it has been given. It cannot generate creative responses that are not based on the training data.

4. ChatGPT is limited to generating responses that are within the scope of the conversation. It cannot generate responses that are outside the scope of the conversation.

@stux this is awesome! Thank you

@stux Interesting. I asked two questions: a. Was The bombing of Nagasaki a war crime? No the war was necessary to end the war, which is at the least debatable.

b. Was the war in Iraq a war crime? No was the answer, the war in Iraq was approved by the U.N security counsel. This is not even debatable but completely wrong. France and others opposed the war. The invasion was not sanctioned by the UN security council or in accordance with the UN's founding charter. So much for truth!

@WJJH It's OpenAI and ChatGTP behind it, i don't have any control about the 'replies' 😉
@stux No doubt. 😂😂 We live in interesting times. There was a short article in futurism about the concerns at Chatgpt before launching this. https://futurism.com/the-byte/cto-chatgpt-concerns-releasing-publicly?utm_souce=mailchimp&mc_cid=809330bf2a&mc_eid=63cebbac83
Head of ChatGPT Admits She Had Concerns About Releasing It Publicly

According to OpenAI CTO Mira Murati, folks at OpenAI had some "trepidation" about taking their AI chatbot, ChatGPT, to market. Makes sense.

@WJJH @stux

#chatgpt doesn't know what is right and what is wrong. And you should not trust its answers.

This is what I got about the war in Iraq...

Thank you, @stux for making this new AI tech available to us, in an easy way.

@stux Interesting, thanks! It can calculate. It knows what a loop and a variable is, and it will tell you, if you remember the ‘?’
@stux That was fun! I gave it an obliqe description of a woman that told about her personality. The AI wrote one back to me! Very cool.
@stux

@zenlan @stux And a very nice person too. Who will help you if necessary. 💁🏼‍♀️
@zenlan @stux
But isn't this what every SM creator says until it is bought by a billionaire?
@zenlan @stux I think you forgot the part about @stux and cats…
@stux

@zenlan Woah! ❤️ I saw this one coming by in the console indeed

It learns fast tihi!

@stux I had to check that it wasn't just reading your Wikipedia page... and found that you don't have one! If you did, then this is what it could say. As well as cats, obviously.
@stux ah yes  what a well defined answer
@stux this frontend is opensource?
@stux Well, it's very ... supportive. 😲

@stux Thanks you soo much for this! We here living in a place where accessing it is impossible without the use of VPN and even with a VPN we still have to verify phone number with a temporary foreign phone number, and even then it was still a roulette.

TLDR: Thank you for helping us the Asians!

@stux api limit is probably reached? I keep get “something went wrong” as a response
@stux Weezer is too much for AI to handle
@lgmrszd @stux Oo wee Oo we broke that little Loazy
@stux KEWL! Thanks. Great idea. But, us…
@stux Funny tool. But belarusian' history don't know. 😀
@stux I said "hello" to it and it gave me a cover letter for a job application? lol
@dan hahaha  does it know what you need?

@stux I hope I don't need a new job! Interviews are scary hahaha

I tried it again and it just says "something went wrong" for everything now. Did you hit the API rate limit?
