Seeing the images from Turkey is heartbreaking. If you live in SF and are wondering what you can do to prepare for an Earthquake I highly recommend taking the SF Fire department's NERT training. You learn how to prepare yourself, your family, some light first aid and search and rescue and what you should have in your home in the event of an earthquake or similar emergency. @jeffluszcz There are quite a few Community Emergency Response Teams #cert in the East Bay Area. It took the training several years ago and I’m still active with them — really nice people!
@jeffluszcz. We learned CPR in school Way back in the days of old when I was a kid. Do they still teach that nowadays? #emergencypreparedness Of course, back then, we were diving under the desks. Kissing our little assess good bye with air raid sirens 🚨 screaming 😱 ☢️ looking out for mushroom clouds😒
