Marius@0xabad1dea I see you have the “share telemetry” slider turned off, but the error message looks like you’ve also clicked “decline” on the privacy statement. Do you get the same error with telemetry off and accepting the privacy statement?
@mariusstrom my recollection is that I toggled the toggle and this immediately popped up, but that could be wrong because I wasn’t expecting to need to remember afterwards. The popup text sounds to me like it very specifically wants the metrics toggle on. If that’s not what it means, it needs to be rewritten as it’s maximally confusing

@0xabad1dea @mariusstrom fwiw, I did try to toggle it off here and it does let me do that
unsure if that is the *same* setting. Maybe it is and in that case boy it is hard to say whether that‘s just really poor wording or actively a dark pattern
