Ariel KroonWatching #TheCasketeers on #Netflix and I'm completely hooked. The filmography took a bit of getting used to (very The Office filtered through What We Do In The Shadows, I found), but I'm absolutely hooked by the story of the Tipene family funeral home and the way they serve their community. Also the way #Maori words are just peppered throughout speech is totally outside my experience and I'm really digging it. Also great to have a peek behind the curtains at the business of funeral directing!
I recommend putting on subtitles if you're not familiar with the language / culture like I am. I do subtitles anyway because I'm kind of a nerd about linguistics and need to know how absolutely everything is spelled because it helps me to say it right out loud.
The absolute exquisite care on display, I can't get over how beautiful it is...
