As many as 50 birds have been found dead or dying around Kingscliff High School, in the state’s Northern Rivers region, since the end of December. An endangered #BushStoneCurlew chick is believed to be among the dead birds found. Many of the birds also had fractured spines or other broken bones consistent with being hit by a stick or club.”
