What are the main advantages of Sketch over Figma these days aside from “feels more native”? Figma has slowly taken over a lot of my design work, but it seems like all the cool kids are all in on Sketch so I’m wondering what I’m missing, haha

@charliemchapman I am biased obviously but https://www.sketch.com/vs/figma/

Even before working for Sketch, I always used it over Figma simply because it has always just been a much more pleasent experience 😊

Sketch

@keir @charliemchapman I used to loooove Sketch, but switched to Figma with our team 2 years ago. Even though the native feel is something I miss, I was willing to sacrifce it for more powerful collaboration. And Figma’s AutoLayout has seriously changed the way I think about screen design.

I still love the promise of Sketch, but it feels like it’s still playing catchup in a lot of these areas :(

@zoltan @charliemchapman well we’re sorry to have lost you! Hopefully you might check us out again in the future😊. Our collaboration is really very good now I have to say! This is useful stuff though, thank you!
@keir one of these days I need to just give it a whirl again. It’s been a very long time since I’ve even played with it
@charliemchapman well if it makes it easier, as of Sketch 95, you can now open Figma files just like a Sketch doc - simple! 😊
@keir whoa! That would make it easier
