It's 26°F here, which isn't bad for February. The wind chill is 10°F, which is pretty cold--but I have to say the *sound* of the gusts is really nasty, even hearing it from indoors.
Or else a pack of wolves has taken up residence in our backyard. Which is unlikely in New York City.
It's only 15 now, but the wind had died down and it feels much more snug at home.
This weather forecast is a bit strange, though. Today's high will also be tonight's low?
@mintyfresh I'm not near Central Park.
We have had reports of coyotes, but only in the larger parks (Central Park and a couple of others, but again not near me), and I have seen red fox in a couple of parks, but they don't howl.
Anyway, whether it's wind or wolves, I'm not going out until the howling stops.
