Emily St. JamesOne thing that keeps dragging me back to Twitter is that it doesn't really seem like there's a lot of great pop culture discussion here. This site is a very earnest place, which seems to manifest mostly in talking about very serious topics. The low-level hum of film/TV discussion that was always present on Twitter, from top critics down to cool, interesting amateurs doesn't seem as rich or populated here.
James Callan@emstjames I have wondered if some of that is just the nature of "early adopters" — because I agree, this place has not yet recaptured that diversity of topics.
Maybe it never will, I dunno, I feel like Reddit is taking up more of that for me.
