Gavin Nelsonit's so weird to think "I hope this app I love doesn't get abandoned and sunset" and to have the app be Freeform and the worry be about Apple instead of a small startup
the one take giving me hope this won't be the case is @rjj’s that apple made freeform for their own remote collaboration needs

@gn I feel like it’s really limiting and lacks a lot of functionality (not being able to use a pen tool on Mac is so stupid). There’s just nothing compelling about it for me.
I tried using it to brainstorm something for school and I had a hard time trying to evenly space things out and make all the arrows on my brainstorm the same size.
I’d rather open Keynote and draw some shapes… it’d probably turn out better. It’s just not a very good app.

@mickregan agreed about the lack of drawing tools on mac. i use it to sketch and annotate with photos and screenshots on my ipad and find it pretty perfect for that.
@gn iPad version seems cool then! Hopefully the Mac version gets some love in the future.
