My Keychron V4 is supposed to arrive later today.
Keycaps and switches are still a couple weeks away, but I can use my current ones until then.

Heh, I just checked the post office and it wasn't there.
Then I check their tracker thing and it looks like the truck with it is literally on campus. XD
Well, it'll be here by the end of my next class then, I guess. Assuming the post office processes it before they close.
@benjaminhollon
I assume you're just ready for it to be here already. lol
I am impatient usually. But now with my hobbies, I want to be surprised when they show up. Whether it be books, tech, keeb, gardening or disc golf stuff.
Woohoo!
Time to get this set up with my current switches and keycaps. (My new ones, bought separately, arrive later.)
@hyde Yeah, I considered blanks. I donโt mind either way.
But I loved these colors so muchโฆ XD
@Qper I started Simple with a Ducky board. From what I read, youโre getting a great quality board for the price, and it truly was. I probably wouldnโt have felt the need to move if not for the changing role my keyboard has had in how I use my computer.
As for switches, I mostly reasoned out what I thought Iโd like, but a switch tester is an even better route.
@benjaminhollon didn't buy it yet, because it's not available for now.
The Keychron k7 with RGB + low profile keychron (hot-swap) with brown switches and ISO-DE layout.
@benjaminhollon yep, hopefully!
I'm still torn between the k3 and k7 ... I don't use the F-keys often, but I am not too sure about the quad usage of the number-keys.
@benjaminhollon I currently have a low profile keyboard and it's also quite small.
Plus if I need to take my laptop with me I could just throw in the keyboard in the bag as well for a pleasant work environment.
@twizzay
Heh, every 5 minutes or so. It's actually been delivered now, but I'm in a class. Hopefully the post office processes it before they close in 53 minutes. If so, I can pick it up from my PO Box, which is open 24/7, after my class ends.
And I finished writing the thing I needed to, so I can go ahead and play with my new toy. :)
@twizzay
Heh, well I could have optionally attended it online due to the weather.
But the class is a 2-minute bike away. And it's serious life skills; financial education and personal finance. No way am I missing it. :)
Generally it takes them a good half hour to process deliveries anyway, so it wouldn't be there if I'd checked anyway. This way, if it'll be there today, it'll be there when my class ends.
