Design documentation progression for indie developers:
1. Random text file.
2. Semi-useful GDD.
3. Really nice GDD with spreadsheets, wikis, and stuff.
4. Random text file.
@tomgrochowiak I did not expect to wake up today and be attacked like this
@tomgrochowiak for me it's like:
1. Scattered forum posts about things I want to implement.
2. Loose todo list compiling said plans.
3. Build issues and project plans in a bug tracker.
4. Write sprawling GDD outlining how the world works and how the game systems contribute to depicting the world. (Never look at this again)
But repeatedly walk this list in something resembling counting, like:
1
12
1213
1213124
@tomgrochowiak @eniko If you’re lucky, number 4 is random text file always in the same git repo so you can find it again this time.
