Hey Mastodon...

Did you remember to re-order that stuff that was in the bottle with the hand pump on top?

@Mrfunkedude I refill all the liquid soap. The lotions all come in one use bottles.

Do you want to hear something funny about that? 😂

Told my wife, this is the last warm day, I need to grease the door seals on the vehicle doors, so they won't stick & freeze overnight.

To remind me, while my wife was on her walk, she texted.
"There's a large jar of Vaseline in the towel closet"
So I texted back, "Thoughtful to remind me while you were out? But I'll just use your lotion as always" 😂

@Rasta @Mrfunkedude I need to grease my door seals? Tell me more, tell me more..

Two tips for this problem, let me find the link https://halifaxsocial.ca/@Rasta/109761084035553803 The things that save your wipers for under $2.
@Mrfunkedude Ideally, rubber should never see petroleum products, Vaseline will eat condoms too. 😂 , so, if you have a new car, vaseline would be a bad choice. If your car won't live 3 more years, it will work fine. You can also use Veggie oil, or the best is silicone grease (doesn't eat rubber) Whatever you use, dry door rubbers, spread light coat on seals

@WhistlingStella They will need to be re-wiped a few times, to make sure your jacket doesn't get an accidental smear, but the part that freezes, is the condensation on the rubbers. If you pre-surface them dry, before the moisture sucks in , they won't freeze shut. Also, if you know it's coming, don't put electric windows fully shut. Just to the rubber> They will push up to free if frozen but not pull down. Leave a space to go up. Don't forget lock deicing
