Willamette Week is one of two alternative weekly newspapers in Portland (and the only one with a print edition) and Finder was their annual FREE glossy magazine that compiled a ton of stuff to do across neighborhoods gentrifying at different speeds. What follows is every cover from 2005 (when I got my act together and moved here) to 2019. 2020 saw a much smaller copy of of the magazine and I think they retired the brand after that. Perhaps it'll make a "COVID is now endemic" return this summer.
I won't pretend that this progression is anything other than what a small group of underpaid media folks think Portland residents between 18 and 37 (and advertising buyers for local businesses) want to see, but even that tells a story.
