I have a deep love of murals, share some if you have them!
@RickiTarr unexpected beautiful surprises.
@LikeItOrLumpIt Exactly! I love art in unexpected places, it's such a treat.

@RickiTarr

Not exactly my favorite "art style," but I like the spirit behind it, and it's well-loved by the citizens of Austin, Texas.

@bodhidave That's the cover for one of my favorite albums

@RickiTarr

By Daniel Johnston? I don't know his music, but I understand he did this mural. And now it is in part a memorial for him.

(I used to work across the street, at the University of Texas.)

Recently, we've waded a little way out, maybe ankle-deep, and the water seems inviting. Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return, and we can, because the cosmos is also within us. We're made of star stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself.” http://www.sam3.es/painting/18.html

My son is a mural artist. This is us at a wide open walls event at a local elementary school. When this was finished which I don't have a picture of it's fruits and veggies.
@RickiTarr Here in Sacramento California they have an annual event called wide open walls where the invite muralists from all over the world to paint sides of buildings. It took my son several years to make the cut. #Graffiti @ajkute on insta

I loved the cool colors on this one found in Long Beach 😎

@RickiTarr Philadelphia is full of them, since the Anti-Graffitti Network became the Mural Arts Project in the 1970s or so. But I've never photographed the officia ones, just local efforts.

What city are your four?

@acm_redfox Oh different ones, I try to get pictures wherever I go
@RickiTarr This isn't my pic but I have been here (I just don't have my own pic easy to find). Marilyn Monroe in St Petersburg, FL.
@RickiTarr love this one in #Nowra on the #NSWsouthcoast where the place name means #blackCockatoo in the local #Dharawal language
@RickiTarr It's hard to choose just a few but these are some of my favourites from here in #Bristol.
