Well, the latest episode of the #Linux news podcast had already passed the previous one for the same period in terms of listens! We’re at a bit more than 2000 listens per episode now, this is insane!

@tlenewspodcast

@thelinuxEXP @tlenewspodcast well done! I enjoy it quite a bit, I think you're doing a good job.
@gabriel @tlenewspodcast Thanks! I’d like to add a little jingle at the beginning and maybe audio cues when switching topics, but I’m satisfied with it!

@thelinuxEXP @tlenewspodcast those are nice, but what would be **really** nice would be to add podcast chapters.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking --it's too hard to find a way.

I'm still trying to find an app like Forecast (https://overcast.fm/forecast) for Linux, or to code my own (I have a project dying around since last year).

Forecast: Podcast MP3 Chapter Encoder — Overcast

The podcast MP3 post-production tool designed, developed, and used by professional podcasters.

@gabriel @tlenewspodcast I have chapters, using the json file standard, but not all clients support it, unfortunately. Even Castopod doesn’t seem to use them yet…

@thelinuxEXP @tlenewspodcast it's so hard to get it right.

I have just switched to Overcast, let me check.

@gabriel @tlenewspodcast Yeah, I add time stamps in the description for clients that don’t support the chapters, but it’s not as easy, I guess
