Speaking of things that have been driving me bananas. This envelope arrived by post sometime in the middle of December. Of all the mail I get, little of it is addressed to THE CHOCK.
I'm instantly curious what's inside.
Huh.
A QR code. And it's big: 5" x 5" (13 cm x 13 cm). And that's all that's in the envelope.
Of course, I scan it.
And that leads to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
Of course, it does.
So now the task becomes: who did this?

I plugged the sender's address into Google and got back an interesting result:
"Public bathroom in San Bernardino, California"

Street View showed someone's front yard. No bathroom in sight.
I continued searching Google and came up empty.
The envelope sat on my desk and has taunted me since then. Until last Friday night, when this toot showed up:
A case of COVID inspired this nagging mystery, and now both Seth and I have recovered.
On a whim, I went back to Google and there's more information now. It now reports "Brenden Luna Distributing" at that address.
Searching for that, and ignoring all the Brendans and Brandons, leads to a seller on Amazon. We're getting close.
The "Luna" on the address is from this seller:
