Melody Cooper@georgetakei YES, George! I would add that street protests are not enough. Posts are not enough. Emails to the community from white police chiefs are certainly not enough (and offensive if they didn’t do the same regarding murderous white cops). We need to take bolder action, whether voting on police budgets or organizing long term boycotts. We need to stop agonizing about police brutality and start holding their feet to the fire in meaningful ways that demand and get results.
