Men: Every man who’s nice to you isn’t trying to fuck you.

Women: Ok now replace “man” with “woman,” read that back to yourselves, and act accordingly.

@OhNoSheTwitnt I can’t imagine that ANY woman who’s nice to me is trying to fuck me.
@awalkingpetpeeve @OhNoSheTwitnt I can’t imagine that ANY woman is trying to fuck me.
@OhNoSheTwitnt but also men: "you're so naive, men are never nice to women unless they want sex, stop leading them on" 🤷‍♀️

@OhNoSheTwitnt Some men have absolutely no problem with this.

Unfortunately, these are the same men that will miss EVERY hint you send their way that you aren't just being nice. 😂

@OhNoSheTwitnt if we added "over" to the end of the sentence does that change anything 🤔
@OhNoSheTwitnt As an autistic person the only way I can tell if someone IS interested is asking. So, if I’ve somehow managed to notice someone is being nice to me, I often would ask - and it was not at all unusual for them to be interested, largely because it takes a lot for me to notice. But it sounds like it sucks the other way around, too.
@OhNoSheTwitnt it shouldn't really be a surprise to men, that women are human beings - yet it still does to some.
@OhNoSheTwitnt now replace with ‘porridge’
@OhNoSheTwitnt that's twice as disappointing.
@OhNoSheTwitnt this way overestimates how often anyone is nice to men
@wagesj45 @OhNoSheTwitnt Perhaps your sample size is insufficient. Or perhaps you have a different definition of 'being nice'.
@ariaflame @OhNoSheTwitnt i suspect the latter. i dont typically think of surface level retail-worker-style politeness as "being nice." and maybe im just being jaded.
@OhNoSheTwitnt Unfortunately, the sort of men causing the headaches here would actually disagree with the first sentence. Therein lies the problem.

@OhNoSheTwitnt

My experience is that sometimes, someone being mean can be a sign that they're DTF. Very annoying.

@OhNoSheTwitnt

I am so glad you're here.

Twitter kicked me off last year for this, and I've missed your tweets ever since.
