We do not have to live like this. No other country on the planet does.

@rbreich Yes we do. Until people stop voting for Republicans. That’s all.
@rosenstand @rbreich regardless of who you vote for the government always gets in… I think you’ll find that who people vote for would make absolutely no difference whatsoever.
@arfab @rbreich So you think that a Congress and Senate with a Blue majority and no filibuster wouldn't mean better and stricter gun laws?
@rosenstand @rbreich do you think that criminals have respect for the law?
@arfab @rbreich Looks like the laws are working in other countries, right?
@rosenstand @rbreich sure, but you can’t simply change the way people want to live by bringing in new laws. They won’t vote for that. I could be wrong,but I’m quite sure that it’s more complex than left vs right. Are there politicians that have stated their willing to make these changes? Educate me if I’m mistaken.

@arfab @rbreich Yes - the majority of Democrats are for universal background checks etc.

But you completely ignore the fact that EVERY other "civilised" country have gun laws that dramatically reduces the amount of gun violence.

You are basically quitting - I disagree with that and I relate to factualities like numbers.

A stricter gun law will reduce gun violence - like the temporary ban on "assault riffles" did here in the US until it was removed. That's all.

@rosenstand @arfab @rbreich

The evidence us overwhelming. Its all out in the open for those who care enough to even look.
