iOS dev confession: other than widgets, I’ve written almost no SwiftUI. But I try to read articles and watch videos from other developers to, hopefully, absorb some useful information ready for the future when I finally give it a try.

One of my favourite iOS YouTubers is @StewartLynch. I always take the time to watch his videos. They are well-produced with clear explanations. Some are standalone, some are multi-part series. If you haven’t already, take a look: https://www.youtube.com/c/stewartlynch

Some other iOS YouTubers in my RSS feed with recent content are:

@FloWritesCode: https://www.youtube.com/@FloWritesCode

@tundsdev: https://www.youtube.com/@tundsdev

Vincent Pradeilles (not on Mastodon?) https://www.youtube.com/@v_pradeilles

@seanallen_dev: https://www.youtube.com/@seanallen

There are others I watch and read, but this is a good starting point! Who else should I be watching?

@evankstone I included him in the post before the one you replied to πŸ‘ I think Stewart may have moved instances recently and still exists with two names.
@geoffhackworth oops! Sorry. I didn't see the prayer post. But you are right, he is on iosdev.space now. πŸ‘πŸ»@StewartLynch πŸ‘ˆπŸ»
@geoffhackworth @StewartLynch Prior post. Not prayer post. Dictation goof. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜†
@geoffhackworth @evankstone I switched from mastodon.social to iosdev.space. The social account shold be dormant.
@StewartLynch @geoffhackworth I had forgotten you had switched to iosdev.space, and when the app that I was using presented both accounts, I chose the wrong one, of course. 🀣
@geoffhackworth @StewartLynch I love Stewart's videos! They've helped me a lot. I also like watching @tundsdev because a lot of time they're short enough for me to watch while eating lunch. And you can watch @mikaelacaron build in SwiftUI on her livestreams.
@geoffhackworth @StewartLynch I’m on the same boat. Only write SwiftUI when I absolutely have to.
@shabbir @geoffhackworth I am the opposite. Only write UIKit when I have to.
@StewartLynch @geoffhackworth I made the same mistake with swift. Transitioned way too late from Objective-C πŸ˜
