We went to see the #SurvaFestival in #Pernik and were in awe. Bells ringing all around, the colorful traditional costumes, the magic of ancient customs and dances. We enjoyed the numerous masked creatures dancing and making noise on the streets in order to chase away the evil spirits.

This is what I like most about #Bulgaria - the aliveness of the old #traditions and the passion with which they cultivate their customs and pass them one to the next generation.
