Friendly reminder that we don't accept teacher brutality or doctor brutality or athlete brutality or judge brutality or mail carrier brutality or firefighter brutality or farmer brutality or cashier brutality or author brutality or pilot brutality or chef brutality or carpenter brutality or engineer brutality or lawyer brutality or accountant brutality or mechanic brutality or researcher brutality or nurse brutality or crossing guard brutality or dentist brutality or painter brutality.
What about mime brutallty?
@UrsaAshBear At least the mimes do it quietly.
@lowqualityfacts although we shouldn't, we *do" accept "brutality" or more precisely abuse from a number of these professions- nurses, teachers, doctors, judges and others have historically and even to this day been permitted to treat black people (and others) with lower standards or even positively harm them. It happens in much the same way as it does with police and it's part of the same racist structures.
@stndrdnickname @lowqualityfacts
Appallingly, last week a parent demanded to know why a teacher friend of mine did not physically discipline her HS-aged child for not being in class. It's reportable and fire-able here (MN). It's technically legal in lots of states.
@lowqualityfacts Would argue nurses probably should be removed from the list, unfortunately.
@lowqualityfacts what about Brutality Brutality
@lowqualityfacts dentist brutality is why I'm here though
@lowqualityfacts We do, however, tolerate sexual or non-physical abuse from many of those groups. We also need to recognize that the vast majority of abusers of any sort are men. It’s so commonplace it’s become normalized.
@lowqualityfacts We don’t, because teachers and doctors and athletes and judges and mail carriers etc don’t have our politicians terrified that they’ll personally brutalize them and torture their family members if they get out of line. We have no democracy. We have created and enabled a caste of violent criminals that hold our entire society hostage.
@lowqualityfacts funny the things that arn't there.
@lowqualityfacts can't help noticing that "police" isn't listed.
@lowqualityfacts don't forget post brutality
@lowqualityfacts film critic brutality, that one we do accept
@lowqualityfacts I dunno, I got a root canal once that almost made me choose violence. But seriously. If your job deals with interacting with people you should make an effort to learn how to do that without resorting to violence.
@lowqualityfacts Your posting was brutal. I don't accept it.
@lowqualityfacts Some pretty high quality facts here from an account that calls itself low quality facts...
@lowqualityfacts I think we kinda accept dentist brutality because there's often really no other choice yet 😅
@lowqualityfacts We’re pretty accepting of athlete brutality and overlord brutality…….

@lowqualityfacts
Sure, sure, yet we are far too accepting of architect brutality.

They are crossing ALL the lines!

@lowqualityfacts respectfully, this is a high quality fact and I think I want a refund.
@lowqualityfacts We sure do accept teacher brutality, depending on their church affiliation and/or tenure situation. If someone can't be fired, they will be corrupt.
@Slashline @lowqualityfacts when a (public) teacher is exposed as being *physically* brutal to a student, does everyone, especially their union, leap to defend their behavior as *appropriate*?
@bunnyjadwiga @lowqualityfacts Guessing you didn't go to a school with nuns.
