Wow! I've never even been in a church, it looks like a beautiful building. So nice they can have services there now.

@SexyCyborg mind blowing for a westerner church-school educated older person to contemplate that there are people who have never been in a church. We (humans) are poor at removing ourselves from our self-cantered view of the world.
If you ever get the chance, they are wonderful works of civil engineering and beautiful spaces. As are mosques.
@DutyBard @SexyCyborg I'm not religious but I do like visiting churches, synagogues and mosques. A lot of them are very gorgeous buildings and I love seeing the art and the stained glass and experiencing the way sound moves throughout it. If there is a guide available, I like to learn the history of the area and the place of worship.
@DutyBard @SexyCyborg there is a mosque in Abu Dhabi, incredibly beautiful. I was overwhelmed by it.

@SexyCyborg Sorry, I forgot to provide a link to that mosque yesterday,

If you are ever in Abu Dhabi, it is worth the effort to visit this mosque.
