My Rancilio Silvia keeps tripping the breaker. Do I dive in and try to fix the problem myself? Not sure if I want to dig into this rat’s nest. #coffee #espresso
@Just1n Check the load on the breaker. Are too many things plugged in and running on it?
@Foodboxgourmet
Good idea, but I don’t think so. Tried to unplug everything else. Interestingly, if I wait a while before I turn it back on, it stays on. But if I turn on the water switch, it trips a second later, and trips every time I try to turn it back on.
@Just1n Have you smacked it? Good Luck.
@Foodboxgourmet haha will give that a go before grabbing the screw driver.
@Just1n I say go for it! There’s no complex electronics in here to bollocks up, might as well see what you can sort out on your own.
@jaymerryfield thanks for the vote of confidence! That’s a very good point.
@Just1n I’m also kind of wish-casting as well. 😂 I have a Gaggia Classic that some day will need something similar and my hope has been that I can do most repairs on my own.
