Dread Templar is great, exciting retro FPS that just left Early Access. Very solid basics but also some interesting bits like bullet-time and upgrades. Good weapon variety, the katanas are surprisingly fun.

Boxville is a neat, wordless point & click adventure of living cans that inhabit a world of steel and cardboard. It's pretty blatantly inspired by the classic Machinarium, but it is a good game (and it's easier).
