Same. Only when you walk a mile…

I admit I feel vindicated for choosing interaction with my kids over interaction with stuff to find out if it sparks joy

@MaaikeV @mmasnick @ernie “Instead of dedicating endless hours to ensuring her home is perfectly put together, ‘Now I realize what is important to me is enjoying spending time with my children at home.’”

What about all the people who followed her advice the last several years? Will she apologize for misguiding them and causing unnecessary stress and guilt? Where is the accountability?

@xtel @mmasnick @ernie to be fair, she’s open about it. That should be enough. She doesn’t bear any responsibility for the peer pressure that followed with the way she was hyped.

I would not be surprised if a lot of ‘influencers’ who could not live up to their own philosophy would do everything to keep up appearances.

This is mature.

@MaaikeV @mmasnick @ernie Good point - a whole industry formed around her method. And we all live and learn.
