39 mass shootings in a country within a single decade would be reprehensible. 39 in a year would be a travesty beyond comprehension. The US has had its 39th mass shooting in less than 4 weeks. Anyone dumb enough to say that "gun rights" matter more than this is officially too stupid to deserve to vote. You have too many guns, America. I've seen one of the most unsettling graph in a Short, it's a scatter graph of "gun deaths per 100,000 people" vs "guns per 100 people".

At first I could not find the USA. Hint: check farther to the top right.

This can't be normal.

@SocialistStan @jamie Yeah, if you include countries with gang activity and drug trafficking you get the US off the top 10 in violent gun deaths. But still second in both suicide and total gun deaths.

Still insane and highly irresponsible.

Sorry for bursting your bubble but giving guns to people is dumb. The rest of the world agrees.

By any objective measure of violence the US is abnormal and that is particularly so in the regard to the number of mass shootings,especially children, unique in the world .No other country does this.
