Gotta be honest in my disappointment. At least it seems that #nostr is headed towards becoming the "crypto" social network. Almost everyone there is talking coin coin coin, invoice that. satoshi this, lightning whatever. Niche.

Don't worry, it's a very common confusion.
'Crypto' scammers have done a lot of damage to bitcoin reputation.

PS: Humans are animals. If we talk about humans, can you say that we talk a lot about animals?

@RdoPeta Thanks, I read more about Bitcoin. Thankfully, I used quotes in my post, so I don't look like a complete idiot. This stems from my initial impression that such a high concentration of excited Bitcoin advocates (and the Lightning feature that welcomes them) could severely slow widespread adoption among everyday users that find themselves in the proximity of scores of experienced users advising them to put their money/coins into custodial wallets, considering the crypto stigma.
