Doctor Biobrain@bensalinas We had police reform under Obama. Police departments fought what they could and Trump repealed what he could.
The problem is the federal government has limited power and local/state politicians are scared of police unions and how Republicans weaponize anything as soft on crime.
I heard Democrats lost seats in New York state due to fearmongering on crime; including the George Santos seat. We might have the House otherwise.
