When characters misunderstand each other and get the wrong idea on TV, I need to remind myself the actors know what’s really happening or I get too stressed out.
@lexfri Where were you in 1978 when I was hiding behind the couch because of Three's Company?
@lexfri being misunderstood is genuinely something that I dread, very sore subject
@lexfri This always stresses me out too. My wife probably hates how often I say to her, “we could skip all this if there wasn’t miscommunication!”
@lexfri that means you’re immersed. You should feel stressed. The soles of my feet were sweaty when I watched Gravity, although that had more to do with Sandra Bullock’s character nearly drifting into the void.
@lexfri I cannot STAND watching a movie where the entire conflict hinges on a single misunderstanding. Or one where the whole movie is just building to the 5 minute conversation that literally resolves everything. It stresses me SO MUCH
