Looks like the App Store search hamsters have finally gotten it worked out. That review count is 😈.

I've seen a few people commenting that other apps are squatting on the name, I don't think that's the case. It's just whatever algorithm Apple is using for ordering search results. I'd honestly much rather have some other Mastodon apps in the list vs an Ad for some spammy non related crap.

@cownley @sambrentnall Yep, different reviews, different descriptions, screenshots etc.

When we used to publish apps at an old job, back in the early days of the App Store, the biggest delay to update submission was always caused by getting the release notes through a bunch of different translation companies for different languages for different country stores.
