One of my current solutions for having @ivory at my desk while we wait on the Mac app: putting my iPad mini right below my display and using Universal Control.
if this overkill solution doesn’t get me into the alpha when it’s released……..
@ChanceHMiller Frankly. I’m embarrassed it took me this long to think about doing that…
@ChanceHMiller @ivory is there a max app in the pipeline?

Attached: 1 image Thanks for including me in the thanks/congrats posts but honestly I only contributed 20 or so lines of code to the shipping iOS/iPad app today. What I can contribute is another preview image from the Mac app though.

@ChanceHMiller oh 😀 that is splendid news
@ChanceHMiller I'm sure you've heard of this but elk.zone is a pretty decent PWA that does a decent job at a desktop experience while we wait for something more native.
@ChanceHMiller Also Mastodeck.com is pretty great at replicating the tweetdeck vibe.
@retnuh730 yep, Elk is fantastic. It’s what I use when I’m not at my external display
@ChanceHMiller @ivory While I love #Elk for desktop use, I just want to take the opportunity to articulate how enthusiastic I am about Universal Control. It really works like a charm for me, and sometimes I even forget about it and get delightfully surprised when my pointer wanders. ;-)
@jens it’s fantastic. one of the best features Apple has launched in years imo
@ChanceHMiller @ivory Do you have an Overcast app on Mac?
@thbertolino if you have an Apple silicon Mac, you can run the iPad version on your Mac. It’s available in the Mac App Store
@ChanceHMiller Understood! Unfortunately, mine is Intel.
@ChanceHMiller which size iPad is that? The mini?
@ChanceHMiller hope Apple updates it with a M-series soon!
@chrisatzinger realllllyyy hoping for OLED + ProMotion at some point too
@ChanceHMiller @ivory Universal Control is overpowered and amazing
@ChanceHMiller now this is a crafty solution.
