One big reason there's still a Ford but there may not be a Tesla in 80 years is they stopped Henry Ford from tweeting.
@lolgop
this feels like a @lowqualityfacts post, but rings true
@lolgop
Henry ford would have tweeted in support of the Nazis and the Greatest Generation would have dealt with him and his company permanently.
@Katrags imagine trying to galvanized support among Americans now for entering the war in Europe. Henry Ford would be the next republican governor of Florida and Hess would be having lunch in Mar-a-lago.
@lolgop Yeah, it's not like the car manufacturer's racist conspiracy theory-believing director went out and brought a media outlet such as the Dearborn Independent.
@rbairwell @lolgop turns out you can still dunk on mastodon, but you have to use facts
@rbairwell @lolgop (i approve of both the OT and the pointed factual correction, in case my tone wasn't clear)
@rbairwell @lolgop
And it was shut down after 8 years. Not sure what this proves anyway. He bought a paper in order to get his views out. That doesn’t say anything abt whether his views were accepted.
@lolgop Imagine if that nasty old Anti-Semite had had access to social media!?
@lolgop ford was a shitty person too? I need to know more...
@lolgop they didn't stop him from publishing antisemitic propaganda, though https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_International_Jew

@lolgop Henry Ford, or "Mr. Car" as he would have styled himself on Twitter.
@lolgop True, Ford did toot his own horn but not near way of musk. I have driven Chevy, Ford, Studebaker (I blame my parents for that one) and Toyota. will never buy a tesla. A good salesman is nice to everyone and keeps his politics quiet.
@lolgop Honestly, neither Ford nor Tesla will be around in 80 years.
@lolgop also, Ford has quality control. Shit I hate saying this. I’m on ramen because of what he’s done to the stock value.
